RENATO GIACOMETTI
I'm 48 years old and live with my wife and our three children in Langnau in Emmental. In the last year we could buy the old schoolhouse in Hühnerbach, where we live now. The escrow office is set up in a former classroom.
I grew up in Davos, but have lived more than half of my life in Canton Berne.

I came for the first time in touch with commercial issues as employee of a self managed Bio Food shop in Aaregg-quarters in Berne. Later I worked for many years as Head of Finance / Administration in a distribution of Fair Trade, organic and eco-products (regional warehouse stores for „World Shops“ Berne). Then I was head of finance, administration and personnel at the Relief „Bread for all“.

In addition, I am manager of the Trubschachen Alterssiedlung cooperative, which manages 23 apartments.

I am actively volunteering as a Board of Trustees of „Bread for all“, as Chairman of the Association Spitex fort he Emmental region, as a member of the school commission in Langnau and as auditor of the parish of Signau.
