Mr. Mark Jeremiah Macauley
Mr Mark Jeremiah Macauley is a native of Sierra Leone, West Africa were he got his primary education at the United Methodist Church (UMC), Mano Dasse Moyamba District and secondary education at The Christ the King College in Bo, South of Sierra Leone. He proceeded to the Njala University College, University of Sierra Leone for a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics, Accounting bias in 1994. He left for the United Kingdom in 2003 and pursued a Diploma in Airline Station Management through The International Air Transport Association (IATA) in London.
In 2006-2007, Mr. Macauley pursued an MBA in Innovative Management from The Coventry University, UK and by April 2007 became an Associate Member of the Chartered Management Institute (ACMI).
Started as a High School Teacher at the UCC, BO for one year and left for the Gambia, West Africa as expatriate teacher for the Gambia Methodist Academy, (1995-2001), joined the Sierra National Airlines, the National Airlines of Sierra Leone in 2001 as Station Accountant for the Gambia, Banjul branch office, and rose to Acting Station Manager (2003), while harmoniously giving my service as a Economics Lecturer at the Business Training Centre in Gambia.
Mr. Macauley then left for the United Kingdom in December 2003, worked for the Citisolutions City Group as Sale Executive (2004), for Cobra Groups Plc. as Finance/Admin Officer (2005), worked as a Volunteer Business Advisor for African Foundation for Development (2007), and currently as a Training Administrator for the Entrepreneurship Skills Training & Support for Business Development Project in UK
He is a highly motivated; adaptable person trained in general management with a multi-disciplinary background. Keen to work with and develop new techniques and methods to maximise the potential of professional management. He enjoys learning new skills, confident and experience in working in different cultures and / or countries. Mature attitude with a keen eye for details.
Other personal developments include, Professional Sales Training, Negotiation Skills, Leadership Skills, IT (Words, Excel, Power Point) and PC Maintenance Skills (City & Guilds)
Mr. Macauley has excellent presentation and motivational skills. Good IT skills with high intuitive ability to learn new skills and a proven team player which will no doubt be an asset for AEMRN.
